EAGAN, Minn. – It'll cost you slightly less this year to host a 4th of July cookout, but overall it's still spendy. According to the Minnesota Farm Bureau, it will cost, on average $67.73 to put on a cookout for 10 people. That's 3% less than last year, but still 14% higher than two years ago. Menu items on the Farm Bureau's survey include 2 pounds of ground beef, 2 pounds of chicken breasts, 3 pounds of pork chops, side dishes, dessert, and lemonade.
